Seasons of my Mind

The changing seasons
For my own reasons
I like the rest
But fall the best.

The forest afire
Within my shire
Bells ring clearer
The lakes a mirror.

Heading south, geese start migrating
Bears seek solitude for hibernating
Readying for winters peace
Creatures scurrying soon to cease.

Fall is my favourite time of year
Leaves dancing, to music they only hear
The nor'easter is soon to blow
Not long after, comes the snow.
